Terms of Service

Last updated 9 August 2026

These terms govern your use of Hydrafetch: the website, dashboard, and API (together, the "service"). By creating an account or using the API you agree to them. If you are using the service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

The service

Hydrafetch is a web data API: you submit URLs or queries and receive back content such as clean Markdown, structured data, links, summaries, or schema-shaped extractions. Fetched raw content is stored so you can re-process it later without fetching it again. We may improve or change the service over time; we will not materially reduce its core functionality for paid customers without notice.

Accounts, workspaces, and API keys

You are responsible for your account, the workspaces you create, and everyone you invite to them. API keys must be kept secret; all use of the service under your keys is your responsibility. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe a key has been compromised, and rotate it from the dashboard.

Credits and billing

  • Usage is metered in credits. Each operation consumes a published number of credits; operations that request model-based processing cost more than plain fetches.
  • Failed requests are not billed. If an operation does not do the thing it exists to do, it consumes no credits.
  • Credits come from a subscription plan or a one-time credit pack, billed through our payment provider. Subscription credits renew each billing cycle.
  • Except where required by law, credits are non-transferable and payments are non-refundable.
  • Plans carry usage limits (such as request rates and concurrency). We may throttle usage above those limits.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the service lawfully and responsibly. In particular, you must not:

  • direct the service at content you do not have the right to access or collect, or use it to circumvent access controls such as authentication or paywalls;
  • collect personal data without a lawful basis, or use outputs in ways that violate privacy, data-protection, or other applicable laws;
  • infringe third-party intellectual-property rights in your use of fetched content;
  • use the service to harass, defraud, or harm others, or to distribute malware or unlawful content;
  • resell raw access to the service without our written agreement, or attempt to probe, disrupt, or overload our systems.

You choose the targets. Because the service fetches whatever you point it at, the responsibility for the legality of fetching a given target, and for your use of the results, is yours. We may refuse, rate-limit, or block requests, and suspend accounts, where use threatens the service or appears unlawful.

Your content and ours

You retain all rights you have in the requests you submit and the outputs you receive; third parties may hold rights in the underlying web content, and nothing in these terms grants you rights over it. We retain all rights in the service itself. You grant us the licence needed to operate the service: to fetch, store, process, and return content at your direction, and to keep the operational records described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is". The web is not under our control: pages change, disappear, and block automated access, and we do not warrant that any particular URL can be fetched, that outputs are complete or accurate, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnity

You will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms, including claims arising from the targets you direct the service at or your use of the outputs.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or risk to the service, with notice where practicable. On termination, your right to use the API ends; unused credits lapse except where law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced to account holders by email before they take effect; continued use after that constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
